Mbox 1 Driver Mac Mavericks REPACK

Since you have the original MBox, you might be better off looking at a newer interface.. Is the Original MBOX a lost cause, or is there a way in which I can get my Macbook to recognize the MBOX?I know there are threads discussing the lack of compatibility for particular devices with the new OS and I want to know if anyone else is still using this ancient MIDI interface and if they've ha any luck.

Maybe a presonus or motu (that's what I'm looking at). You had to do some weird mod with the FireWire driver in order for you to use it.. 10 3 Yosemite I would like to use my original MBOX to play music through iTunes or any application/program (like youtube or garageband).

I know Pro Tools 11 ? Says it'll work on OSX 10 9 1 but I don't know what I am not sure but the MBox Pro 3 use a software and a driver or is a.. I have also attempted to locate the AVID core audio drivers for my Macbook, but they are all for MBOX 2's and up.. I have a digi 002r and run it on my late 2011 MBP using the 10 3 3 drivers It works, thankfully.. 7 5 on my macbook pro and my original MBox DoktorHauser above is correct I was able to use the generic driver for original MBox on OS X Lion.

Download it from and install I was then able to choose 'MBox Demo' from System applet > Audio > Input and am now able to use my original MBox with Garageband which ships with OS x for free instead of laying out hundreds of dollars for a new MBox and Pro Tools 10.

You'll be prompted to go to PACE, download the DRMware and before you launch GB or Ableton you need to start Digi CoreAudio Manager first, otherwise GB or Ableton will take a really long time to startup..
